Team Biographies  M. Tamra Chandler
Tamra is the CEO and a founding partner of PeopleFirm LLC. She is a recognized industry leader with nearly 20 years of experience helping clients through strategic change programs. Tamra has a proven track record of managing complex business integration and business transformation projects that require a blend of strategic, technical, and change management skills.
As a trusted advisor to corporate executives, Tamra has worked in a diverse range of industries including high technology, consumer and industrial products, aerospace, and non-profit and financial services. She has led projects in disciplines ranging from ERP implementations to business intelligence, custom development, and strategic planning. Tamra is renowned for her ability to see the larger picture and achieve measureable results. Today, Tamra brings her years of client experiences and her passion for achieving strategic value into a single focus: people.
Prior to founding PeopleFirm, Tamra was the Managing VP of Global Solutions and People for Hitachi Consulting and part of a four-person executive team with full accountability for the strategy and performance of the global consulting practice.
As a thought leader in the management of services organizations, Tamra was honored as one of the Top 25 Consultants for 2007 by Consulting Magazine. Key to this recognition was the lasting impact she had on Hitachi Consulting, where Tamra orchestrated the integration of Hitachi’s six heritage companies into a cohesive delivery organization. Consolidating the best of the heritage approaches, Tamra built a common culture, leading edge talent management tools and processes, a new delivery methodology, and other innovations that brought measurably improved employee retention, client satisfaction, and the capture of intellectual capital.
Tamra is also an Arthur Andersen alumna. Tamra joined Andersen in 1994, and stepped in to manage the Pacific Northwest (PNW) Consulting practice, first at Arthur Andersen, then at Hitachi Consulting practice from 1998 through 2005.
Tamra has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University and a Masters in Business from the University of Washington.

Beth Montag-Schmaltz
Beth is a Principal and founding partner of PeopleFirm LLC. As a thought leader and industry expert in Adoption and Change Execution, Beth is frequently sought after to architect and manage complex change management programs for strategic and high-risk corporate initiatives. Beth is a recognized researcher, practitioner, and innovator of Adoption and Change Execution methodologies and tools. Her knowledge and experience allows her to guide organizations and their leaders through a structured yet uniquely tailored process that produces concrete returns on their investments. As an author of leading-edge articles and white papers, Beth provides companies with the unconventional wisdom to not only reach their business goals, but also exceed them through a practical approach to leading people through change. Prior to co-founding PeopleFirm, Beth was Vice President in charge of Hitachi Consulting’s Organizational Change Management (OCM) Practice. In this role Beth led the Global Organizational Change Management practice for Hitachi Consulting, where she built a comprehensive and industry- recognized best practice approach to implementing change. Beth's education background includes an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College. Marcus Scott
Marcus is a Principal and founding partner with PeopleFirm LLC. He has more than twenty years of professional work experience including ten years in strategy and operations consulting; including his prior position as a director for Hitachi Consulting. The majority of Marcus’s professional career has been spent in the high technology industry where he has led cross-functional projects with roles including strategy consultant, director of marketing, new product development manager and project manager.
More specifically, Marcus has led numerous change initiatives in high-technology, spanning functions from marketing and engineering design through manufacturing to sales and post-sales customer service. Marcus has launched several high-tech. products/services as product manager/director. He has worked in multiple industries including telecommunications, computer hardware and software, internet services, transportation, building products, oil and chemicals. Marcus is an alumnus of Strategic Planning Associates (now part of Mercer Management Consulting) and Accenture's Strategic Services Group.
In addition to his professional experience, Marcus has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Master of Science degree in chemistry from Oxford University, England. Kim S. Bailey
Kim is a Director with PeopleFirm LLC. He has more than twelve years of consulting experience grounded in helping companies define and then achieve business strategy that requires changes and improvement of processes, systems and organization. Practice areas of particular strength in Kim’s history include development of IT strategy, alignment of business strategy and process/systems, implementation of complex systems and assessment of new business units including supporting organizations and systems. Prior to coming to PeopleFirm, Kim was an executive at a mid-sized software company as well as a technology start-up where he oversaw and directed customer operations and services. His experience includes providing leadership and strategic direction, financial and operational management, recruiting, hiring, development and retention of people, sales and client management, and solution delivery. In addition to his for-business focused work, Kim has spent the past ten years focused on working with a variety of non-profits to help use business learning and technology to improve their missions and operations. Through his work with organizations such as United Way, Peninsula and WorldVIsion, he is committed to working to strengthen the community and its people. . Alan Borgida
Alan is a Director with PeopleFirm LLC. He has over fifteen years of consulting, industry, and not for profit experience; he has extensive experience in Program, Project and Product management. His areas of expertise include operations analysis, process improvement, business and technical requirements gathering, leadership facilitation, exceptional communication and influencing skills, as well as team building acumen. Jenni has primarily consulted in the areas of employee retention, process improvement, leadership development, strategic planning and executive coaching and has experience in the retail, corporate, real estate, hospitality, non-profit and government sectors. Jenni holds both a Master of Science degree in Organization Development (MSOD) as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Central Washington University. Joyce Chew
Joyce is a Director with PeopleFirm LLC. She has over 16 years of experience in consulting, human resources, recruitment and operations management. Joyce has deep expertise in workforce management through people-focused strategies. She has provided leadership working with companies to improve their profitability through optimizing their people processes and systems. Joyce has managed complex projects for multi-national organizations, start-ups, mergers/acquisitions and their related integration efforts as well as for troubled companies and turnaround efforts. She has experience in areas such as strategic people planning, employee lifecycle management, recruitment, retention, employee development, succession planning, and staffing and employee satisfaction. Joyce has experience in industries such as professional services, high technology, financial services, healthcare, and oil and gas. Joyce earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.  Erin is a Manager with PeopleFirm LLC. She has over six years experience in Adoption and Change Execution (ACE). Erin's talents lay specifically in the areas of communication, deployment strategy, organizational alignment, and leadership coaching. This work is complemented by her strong project management background which has been honed with experience in corporate marketing environments, political campaign strategy, and nonprofit work. Erin is a thoughtful leader, who adapts well to different organizational cultures. Erin's Adoption and Change Execution experience includes: leading a large scale business intelligence implementation affecting all finance organizations across a global Fortune 50 software company; acting as an ACE Subject Matter Expert for an IT department reorganization in a leading telecommunications company; and managing the communications strategy and deployment of a major Business Intelligence initiative within a Fortune 500 retail organization. Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts at Colorado State University.
Amalia Goodwin
Amalia is a Manager with PeopleFirm LLC. She has over eleven years of experience in Adoption and Change Execution, specifically in designing and delivering tailored adoption and change execution approaches and plans.
Amalia has been involved in implementing multiple Adoption and Change Execution solutions with her clients including but not limited to the development of an Organization Change Management Office, Organization Strategy and Alignment development, and Business Intelligence implementations. Her experience spans multiple industries including high-tech, software, retail, aero-space, and healthcare.
Amalia earned her master's degree in Organization Systems Renewal/Whole Systems Design and is certified in Network Analysis, Systems Renewal Consultation and Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
