Gloria retired seven years ago from the National Park Service closing the book on a 23-year career managing multiple grant programs for the National Park Service for the acquisition and development of outdoor recreation opportunities at the state and local level. Gloria became one of twelve National Park Service grant managers nationwide via an upward mobility position after proving herself in clerk typist and property manager positions.
Outside the office, Gloria makes quilts from start to finish for those most in need in the greater Puget Sound area. She is a founding member of Quilts From The Heart, a non-profit organization preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary and the gifting of its 15,000th quilt.
Gloria believes we are at our best when in service to others and enjoys supporting those around her in achieving their goals.
