John Hanson

John is a dedicated and passionate leader with over three decades of experience driving organizational transformations. He has extensive expertise in both the strategic aspects of the projects he works on, as well as the hands-on deployment activities they require.

John brings a notable energy and insight to his work. His expertise spans the end-to-end work of role re-definition, change management, workforce planning, organizational performance, human capital management, learning experience design, and talent management projects. He makes sure that his valuable work provides measurable impact for both the people he works with and the business’ bottom line.

Most recently, he worked extensively with Charter Communications helping drive organizational transformation through role and process re-definition, up-skilling, and management development. He previously led the US division of DOOR training and consulting where he gained extensive experience with a variety of different industries. Prior to that he spent ten years in all phases of talent management at Microsoft.

In addition to his skill set, John is a qualified interpreter of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and a facilitator of Fake Talk; Microsoft’s Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and Project Management program; Forum Corporation’s Face to Face Sales Skills; Blanchard’s Team Chartering, Partners in Leadership’s Accountability Self Track and Accountability Other’s Track.

Based in Seattle, Washington, he and his wife spend their time working with several non-profit organizations with a focus on homelessness as well as medical research. John is also an avid world traveler.
