Laura brings us bubbling energy, expertise, and over 20 years of leadership experience helping clients create strategic alignment, talent management, performance management, and succession and leadership development programs. She has deep experience in designing high performance teams, team building, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, and process improvement. She embraces a “craftsman mindset”, deliberately choosing to gain experience across industries and people disciplines to craft the work she loves. Laura focuses on supporting clients and client organizations through transformational change by co-creating customized programs and outcomes. She believes it is helpful to leverage mindfulness and our somatic and nervous systems to have the best chance of responding optimally to life.
As a consultant, Laura has led large-scale and strategic people and change initiatives in diverse industries including healthcare, financial services, and not for profit, both in the US and globally. Her work includes merger and acquisition integrations, facilitating executive and front-line teams through strategic planning and change, collaboration, creation of global experiential leadership programs, diversity and inclusion programs, succession planning, and performance management efforts. Laura has broad experiences as a skilled facilitator and employs the mutual learning approach.
In her free time, Laura, her husband Jeff, and their two young adult children feel called to serve the most vulnerable in their community to make it a little simpler for people to feed, clothe, shelter, and care for themselves. Laura serves as Vice President of NAMI Pierce county, (the National Alliance for Mental Illness), has served on the board at the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound, and cooks and serves along side her family at Guadalupe House of Hospitality in Tacoma’s hilltop. Outside of her volunteer work, she’s all about her family, exercising and hot yoga!
